   I would say, just be really careful, and have someone you trust look over the contract together with you, before you agree to anything. some of these companies are very helpful, and others,… well, they just want to take advantage of your desperate situation between the rock and hard place.

   Trust your instinct. If it sounds too good to be true, it might be.

   For the good ones, they can help you not only get out of the payday loan situation but also help you with budgeting and planning so that you can get out of bad or unnecessary spending habits, and live within your means, until you or your partner is able to get back to work, or get a better job, etc.
