Try checking around for banks that give loans easily (without hassle). There are certain banks that require so much that it is almost impossible to get a loan without having a perfect credit record. There are others that will give you a loan with decent credit scores (depends on how much you take out). Try getting a home equity loan, if not you will be forced to get a personal loan. Home equity loans have lower interest rate and have a higher chance of being approved. Personal loans might have you put something down as in collateral (your car). You can also go to a loan specialist (independent company) that will find a bank that is willing to lend you money. The interest rates might be a little higher, but if you need the money, there is nothing you can do. I am not an expert on this topic so don’t only consider my advice, but it is what I have learned over some time.
Tip: Everytime your credit is checked, one point is deducted from it, so do not go around to every bank applying for a loan.

You’re best bet is probably a loan shark. No reputable firm will lend money to someone who’s already shown they don’t pay back. The loan shark will lend you the money regardless, because he likes it better if you don’t pay. It’s worth a few dollars to them to get see people’s kneecaps busted.
