Do you know if you can pay off a payday loan with a credit card?

Does anyone know if you can pay off an online pay day loan with a credit card?
Yeah, I don’t really want to take out a cash advance. I’m just going to have to suck it up and pay it off. I am never getting a payday loan again, it was a really stupid mistake. :-/

    You will probably have to get a cash advance at an ATM

    You could take a cash advance - but geez, that’s just digging a deeper hole - you’re going to end up paying back twice as much as you borrowed! Figure out how to get off of that merry-go-round.

    You would have to get cash from the credit card. Call your credit card company if you’re not sure what to do to get cash with it. Payday Loan won’t take the payment with a credit card.

    I don’t see why not. They will get the money just the same as if you paid with cash. You may want to check the rates though and see if it is really worth it.

    rec girl: yes, but the payday loan business would have to pay the credit card company a processing fee (of 2-4% of the payment amount) and they’d rather not.
