  1. Those places cater to people with bad credit, and if they won’t approve you, nobody will. About your only choice is a pawn shop - you will need something of value to trade for a loan, and you can get the thing back when you pay off the loan.

You are better off NOT doing this. As someone who has been poor most of my life, I can tell you that these things give you some peace of mind, but overall they make life much worse. If you can get your creditors to hold off a few days till you have some interest-free money that you earned yourself, you will save yourself a lot of money and avoid getting in to a cycle of floating small loans all over town.

  2. If you have a poor credit score, it is difficult to get a loan from most banks and financial institutions. Credit is usually available only at a very high interest rate.Only few companies provide loan with poor credit score.Check out link for details.

  3. Expounding a little more on what Polly commented . . .

Steer WAY clear of Payday loans. As the saying goes for Lays Potato Chips, “No one can just have one!”, the same applies to Payday loans. One loan will quickly turn into 5 loans, which will then turn into you defaulting on all of them and never paying them down because of their astronomical (and nearly illegal) interest rates.

I highly recommend taking a deep breath before commiting yourself to Payday loans. Here are a few options you might consider (in this order):

    1. Speaking to a family member (mother, father, grandparent, aunt, uncle, cousin, and sibling) about your financial hardship. They might be able to loan you the amount that a Payday loan lender would.

    2. If you are religious, speak to your local congregation leader (priest, teacher, clergyman, etc.) Many religious groups have funds set aside for the financially needy.

    3. Speak to your employer. They might have options available to their employees.

    4. If you have a checking account (which I assume you do if you’re considering a Payday loan) consider speaking to your financial institution about a Payday advance. Large bank such as Wells Fargo and Bank of America are now offering Payday advances for their customers who have an established direct deposit into that account. (Though still not an ideal option, it’s better than say “Cash4U, inc.)

A Payday loan is one of the worst things you can do for yourself financially. They are hard to pay off and once caught in that payoff schedule, if you miss a payment, the company will become EXTREMELY aggressive, up to and including a civil lawsuit. The people at the Payday loan desk that are handing over the cash are NOT your friends. They will NOT defend you against the nasty collectors that can come out of the woodwork if you default.

6 years ago, I too was in your same shoes. What started out as a three week $300 loan turned into a 9 month $1,400.00 dollar nightmare. I felt terrible about myself, terrible about my life, terrible about my choices and stuck in a deep rut. Take my advice, and as hard as it may be, find another option.
